tl;dr: if you don't care about NaCl-vs-WASM, then you can skip this thread.  no user action is required as everything migrates automatically.

the upcoming Secure Shell 0.69 release will be the last one to support NaCl.

CrOS R138 was the last version & OS to support NaCl, and R139 went stable in August, there should be very few people who are even able to run the NaCl version at all.  higher level info & timelines can be found here:

we'll track removal here:
for people running older versions of Chrome/CrOS due to EOL devices, you can sideload the older releases to still get NaCl versions.  that should never change.  the bug above has details, but i'll update the docs too.  CWS doesn't have flexibility to serve different versions based on client version because Chrome & CWS fundamentally assume everyone is (effectively) running the latest version all the time.

there is a separate source branch that is basically frozen if people want a quick reference point:
