I tried to set the following in both config text inputs in the secure shell extension's setting
Match host <my_host>
  ForwardAgent no

However, it seems that it still has agent forwarding enabled. Did I do something wrong or the agent forwarding cannot be disabled?

By the way, <my_host> is a wildcard which looks something like *.d.myhost.com

agent forwarding isn't enabled by default -- you have to turn it on.

since your e-mail is @google.com, i'm guessing you're connecting to a Google system with --config=google.  that enables agent forwarding for you.  you can disable it by adding -a to your commandline.

Do you know if there is a way to turn off agent forwarding for Google? I tried with updating the /etc/ssh/ssh_config and /.ssh/config but it doesn't seem to work

did you try -a as i suggested ?  i suspect ssh_config settings are overridden due to how the --config=google settings are integrated.
