Hi

I am Katie Overton from Chrome Extensions UK store and wanted to reach out to you to offer a way to increase revenue earnings from your extension Secure Shell (dev).

We are providing our partners with Bing feeds that pays well on extensions for search. It can earn up to $1000 a month per 5000 users, it is a premium product from Bing by invitation only.

If your extension does not have search this is not a problem with a simple update this can be added, furthermore it is completely acceptable by google chrome store.

Any questions please reply I am here ready to help you monetize your extension.

Kind Regards

Katie Overton

sorry all, i accidentally pressed "approve" when walking down a hallway with my laptop instead of "ban".  i'll delete the thread from the group.

we actually get these kinds of offers/requests on a regular basis.  people are shameless.

Oh, this is hilarious.

Could we reserve a part of the window for banner ads?

Perhaps the bottom 3-4 rows of the screen, since that's close to the
cursor's default location while using a shell,
so I think it should get good visibility.

I'm sure a bunch of net admin related companies would love to build
brand recognition.

We could use the revenue to further develop the app and related technologies...

How about sponsored cursors?

hmm, what if it was like a youtube monetization model.  the user opts in by signing into their Google account, then we'd show ads, but the revenue would go to the user directly.

Dont forget In App Purchases for the ability to use your own SSH keys and to unlock support for ncurses

Hmm, that idea has some merit.
Additionally we could embed some cryptomining to run in the background
while you shell.
It wouldn't even be that hard... after all you already have all the
crypto stuff there to support ssh itself...

seems like we'd better utilize resources if we automatically ran commands on the system's we ssh to.  i'm sure there's a file somewhere we can `curl ... | bash` easily enough.
