Hi, ever since I upgraded to Chrome OS 90 I get the following error when I use Secure Shell. Is this a bug? Do I need to do something to fix this?

    hostfile_replace_entries: mkstemp: Not a directory
update_known_hosts: hostfile_replace_entries failed for /.ssh/known_hosts: Not a directory
hostfile_replace_entries: mkstemp: Not a directory
update_known_hosts: hostfile_replace_entries failed for /.ssh/known_hosts2: Not a directory

Thanks!

A different thread suggests adding the option to the connection dialog
-oUpdateHostKeys=no
I did that for one host,a nd the error disappeared from all hosts.
After removing the option, the error did not return.

Eric,

There is an open bug report about this issue, located here:

The issue does not appear to negatively affect the usage of the connection, other than adding some additional text to the console at the beginning of the connection.
