Aspiring Contributor Interested in Getting Started with Chromium

Hi everyone,

My name is Kush Shanware, and I’m a student developer interested in contributing to Chromium.

I’m currently exploring the Chromium codebase and documentation to understand the project structure, build process, and contribution workflow. My goal is to start with small but meaningful contributions and gradually become an active contributor.

I have experience with C++, JavaScript, Python, Git, and general software development, and I’m particularly interested in areas related to browser internals, web features, and developer tooling.

I’d appreciate any guidance on:

• Recommended components or modules for new contributors

• Good first issues or starter bugs to look at
