Hello!

Shibalik and I took a quick look over your proposal and things are looking very good!

We left some small comments to improve the design a tiny bit but overall this is a solid proposal!

Let us know if you have any questions.

Thank you!

Thank you mentors for your time and support.
I have made all the changes as required, and also added some more points.
It would be very kind on both of your part, if you take a look and guide.
Also, I would like to know, is the deliverable section good enough to meet GSOC requirements ?
Here's the proposal link.

Thanks & Regards

Hello!

We are getting around to responding to your proposal now. Overall all looks good.

The deliverable section is perfect! We won't focus too much on that since we know timelines can change quite a bit so a rough outline is all we ask.

Respected Mentors,
Pardon me. I am extremely sorry for disturbing you at the last minute. Actually, an idea to include a comprehensive test for the debug ui stumbled
upon me lately, especially after reflecting on our earlier discussion regarding the need for browser tests for the WebUI TabStrip theme change fix.
I have added the new changes under "Alternatives Considered" Section.
Request you to please have a look.
Thank you for your time and consideration.

Regards,
Koushik

Thanks for the heads up! I think it's always good to list some alternatives you may have come up with.

Overall this proposal looks really good, I wouldn't change it too much before submitting the final version.

Thanks!

Hi Darryl and Shibalik,

I hope you're doing well.

I applied for GSoC 2025 for webUI Tabstrip proposal, and while I wasn’t selected, I really appreciated the opportunity to contribute to Chromium and engage with the community, as this was my first open source contribution.

I’d be very grateful if you could share any feedback on my proposal or areas where I could have improved. Understanding this would really help me grow and better prepare for future open-source programs.

I also want to thank both of you for your guidance during the application period. I’m still interested in contributing to Chromium and would love to stay involved in the project, GSoC or not.

Warm regards,

Hi Koushik,

Darryl, and Shibalik will say more.

I looked through your proposal and I thought it was such a detailed written one. I see your effort, your ideas for code design. I would highly encourage you to keep up the good work, opportunities will follow.

It is just that the program is very competitive and being selected or not is not your fault.

Best of luck,
Sreeja
