to Chromium Extensions
So I have this really big problem with my developer account where I have my new chrome extension that I need to update.

My developer account was temporarily disabled. I submitted an appeal, it was accepted, and I was told my account was reinstated. But when I try to log in, I get stuck on the "Verify it's you" screen with "Too many failed attempts — try again in a few hours."

I waited a full 7 days without a single login attempt. Tried again — same error. The account is completely inaccessible.

My extension (UIDrop) is still live on the Chrome Web Store, so the account is clearly in good standing — I just can't access it to push updates.

I've tried:

  • Waiting 7+ days between attempts
  • Different devices and networks
  • "Try another way" — all verification methods are rate-limited

There's no way to contact Google support without being logged in, which is the exact thing I can't do. Any help from the CWS team to reset the verification cooldown on this account would be hugely appreciated.

Thank you.
