Extensions on iOS

Hey Folks,

Hope you guys are doing well. I wanted to know if any of you have published an extension for a browser on iOS and if one has to publish the extension on Apple's app store for that. As far as I know only Safari supports extensions on iOS and many of the extensions are not free as Apple charges the developers for publishing in their Store. 

Any leads would be super helpful.

You can only distribute extensions for iOS Safari on the the iOS app store

Yes, I published the free and Open-Source Turn Off the Lights browser extension for Chrome on the Safari web browser. You can check out the source code for the Safari extension on my GitHub page at:

Creating a Safari extension is not a difficult task, the code is the same as the Chrome extension (thanks to the W3 WebExtensions community). However, it is important to note that you will need to pay an annual subscription fee to Apple in order to publish your extension.
