Extension screen recording

Has anybody here implemented extension screen recording? I want to capture user usage recording. I used PostHog to do it, but their start recording method blocks the main thread for about 2 minutes. This freezes some of the web pages and the extension itself. Has anybody used any service that is reliable and lag free?
