3 of my extensions were taken down from Chromestore without giving any reason

This is so unfortunate. All 3 of my extension were disabled and taken down from chromestore without any mail or reason .

Can anyone tell us the reason for the same.

These are the three IDs




Please let us know what could be the reason.

We would love to hear any feedback and fix it as soon as possible !

This is sad.

There should have been an intimation on the mail at least. The chrome store lags behind than play store in this aspect. 
I have used 2 of them and both seem reputed extensions with average rating of 4.5 star +

Hopefully there is prompt communication from google's side

The Chrome Web Store sends email with policy violation details and an appeal option whenever an extension is taken down from the store. Are you using a group publisher account to distribute your extensions? If that's the case, be sure to check that your group settings are configured to allow email from non-group members. Otherwise, delivery will fail when the Chrome Web Store attempts to sends email notifications about takedowns or other issues.

They sent email notifying all extension owners to make specific changes if their extensions are added/used inline.

Maybe check your spam- it was just before New Years and I got very nervous about this big change...

Niether in mail nor spam any reason we have received. Its very unfortunate from google side. Without any mail they have taken down the extension.They ask to fill some particular form, even after filling the form we have not received any reply yet.

We've identified two problems related to Taken Down and lack of communication from Google:
  1. Google only sent emails to the Google Group associated with the extension.  The Google Group default permissions do not allow email from non-members, so no real humans received any messages.  Once we allowed non-members to post to the group, we instantly started receiving Google's Taken Down-related emails.
  2. Some of our customers installed extensions using Windows Group Policies many years ago.  Within those group policies, the customer had specified legacy non-SSL URLs for the automatic extension updates.  In other words, the letter "S" was missing from "HTTPS" in a URL like this: https://clients2.google.com/service/update2/crx
