changing the name of an extension in the chrome web store

Is it possible to change the Name of an extension once it has been
submitted/approved at the chrome web store ?

I understand that I can resubmit using a different name, but Id rather
just change the name of the existing entry.

Yeah, you just need to upload a version with a changed name and increased version number in the new manifest.
