Chrome Web Store removed my extension but didn’t include the “violation ID” (color + element) in the email – how am I supposed to appeal?

I just ran into something really confusing with the Chrome Web Store and I’m wondering if anyone else has seen this or knows how to deal with it.

My extension StreamLegit AI Assistant (Item ID: pmabajojeafjheippngoljbejiacffgm) was removed with the following message:

Hi there,

We regret to inform you that your item has been removed from the Chrome Web Store. Please find the details below.

Item name: StreamLegit AI Assistant Item ID: pmabajojeafjheippngoljbejiacffgm.

Violation(s): Your item did not comply with our Program Policies.

This violation was detected as a result of an internal review. Automated means were used to process the action taken against this item. Learn more about enforcement here.

When I try to submit an appeal / complaint, the form says:

“Please provide the violation ID, which you can find in the email you received. The ID consists of two parts: the color and the name of the chemical element. Example: Blue Copper.”

The problem is: there is no such violation ID anywhere in the email I got. No “Blue Something”, no color + element, nothing. Just the generic “Your item did not comply with our Program Policies.”

I have no idea which policy they think I violated, and I can’t even start the appeal without that ID.

They do it a lot. Your extension and account will get blocked for no known reason. You will keep scratching your head and will not find the exact reason. At the same time you will find many extension out there in store which might be breaking more policy compared to yours.
I have raised this issue but didn't find the satisfactory response.

I ended up in the same situation.
All my requests were answered with automated replies.
After a dozen messages, I simply gave up.
They blocked my account and never told me why.
Any developer deserves to know the real reason why they were blocked, instead of being given vague responses like ‘security reasons’.

Looking at it broadly, this is what happens when huge corporations abuse their power.
