Have been following all policies, especially about privacy, and only asking for user permissions when necessary, not just during the initial setup.
Our extension isn't new; it's been on the store for quite a while. Despite this, the problem hasn't fixed itself.
Just posted in
one_stop_support as you suggested, but it only has an option for this kind of issue for "general support" so might not go to the right people responsible for this policy.
The issue is also affecting existing users. A lot of them who have Enhanced Protection enabled think the extension is compromised because of the warning message they saw, even though it isn't. They are either not updating the extension or removing it entirely based on the alert.
We've been hearing about this confusion a lot, both from uninstall notifications feedback and through our support channels. It's clear that the message is causing some misunderstanding about what's actually going on.
