I am writing to request assistance in recovering access to my Google account associated with the email address:
text.simp...@gmail.com.
This account was previously linked to a phone number, which I disabled and removed because I no longer wish to receive SMS messages or calls on it.
The core issue I am facing is that Google's automated recovery process is insisting on SMS verification to this old, invalid number as the only method, while not presenting me with the option to use any of the other, fully functional recovery methods I have set up and currently possess.
I still have and can provide:
· The correct account password
· My set of backup codes
· Details for my two-factor authentication app
· Access to the associated recovery email
· All details and public key for the Chrome extension linked to this account
· Any Cookies or responses in the Chrome extension
Despite having all these valid verification methods, the login system keeps asking for an SMS code to a
disabled number. This is preventing me from accessing my account to manage my extension. Is there any way to transfer my extension to my other functional account?
Best regards,
Andre Russell
