Do uninstalls extensions during development count toward Chrome Web Store stats number?

Hi All!

I have the same query as Will from this thread:

We are seeing a lot of uninstalls of our extension. We have a lot of testing going on locally and anecdotally it appears that both dev, production and webstore installs when uninstalled track as an uninstall in webstore analytics.

Is there documentation anywhere that describes when an extension uninstall will count in the webstore analytics?

And are there any docs about potentially disabling developer uninstalls from recording?
