My blood ran cold today when I received an email from the Chrome Store with the subject line "Removal notification."
It's an extension that's been around for years, has +100,000 users, and excellent ratings (4.7 average). In fact, it has such good ratings that I receive several emails a day notifying me of reviews, and because of the flooding of my inbox... I MISSED THE WARNING EMAIL.
I know, I am an asshole and this is a huge mistake on my side (although perhaps the Chrome team could send a follow-up...). I've already contacted the Chrome team via the website. Is there anything else I can do?
For me this is a real disaster; it's throwing away years of work.
Has anyone else experienced something like this?
