I've made an extension that request audio (mp3) extraction from a
youtube video by making use of www.video2mp3.net services.
After three days in gallery (with hundred of users), Google banned it
from Gallery hosting.
There is already another extension that has tons of users, but it is
still available for installation (youtube2mp3).
The concept of working is a bit different: once youtube2mp3, redirect
the user to the video2mp3 page, and mine extension perform all
requests and file downloading by itself.
No my questions:
1) Why youtube2mp3 is not banned?
2) What's will happen if change my extension to start the downloading
from a third part web site, will it still be illegal?
3) Does not both bringing the same content to the user?
