Norton Family Extension for Chrome - Error in toolbar

We are from Norton Family team. We have an extension published and available in chrome.

 Recently we have noticed that Chrome is displaying an Error while it shows the popup to add the Norton Family Extension.  Earlier it used to be just an exclamation icon.

Could you please let us know what could be the reason and any suggestion to correct this.

Hey Norton folks,

IMO this looks like a bug.

We recently changed how the Chrome menu (sometimes referred to as the triple dot menu or kebab menu) handles badging. Previously the menu icon would be completely replaced with a different icon which caused some users to get confused when there was a Chrome update or an extension needed the user's attention for some reason. The new behavior decorates the Chrome menu with a color and text label indicating why Chrome needs the user's attention. I suspect that the label appearing as an "error" is not an accurate reflection of the severity of the issue Chrome is trying to present to the user.

Please file a bug report on crbug.com so we can investigate the issue in more depth.
