Is there a way to display the "google account chooser" page before showing the Oauth2 api approval page using the chrome.identity api? currently i use chrome.identity.getAuthToken interactive=true, but it doesnt allow the user to select their desired account. Any thought would be much appreciated.

As far as I know, the chrome.identity API only allows you to get tokens for the Google account attached to the profile the user launched the app under. It does not support the same multi-login functionality available on the web.

As a result, to get this functionality I need to implement something more custom?

But the authorization doesn't persist if you exit chrome completely.
