Serious regressions left unaddressed for three months

Last October, I reported an issue where IME (input method editor) can't be used in extension popup and another issue that seems to be related (these are serious usability regressions for Chinese/Japanese/Korean users), but there has been no noticeable response since then. So, if possible, I'd like to ask Google employees on this mailing list to have fellow Googlers in charge of relevant components investigate these issues as soon as possible. Thank you in advance.
