Hi

I published 2 chrome extensions yesterday but they are stuck in pending for review since 24 hours. It used to be done within a hour prior to this. I last updated successfully on May 6.

Who can help me regarding this?

I uploaded a new version on saturday assuming it would be out within an hour as normal. 24 hours later I start getting a lot of bug reports of a broken extension. I uploaded a new version instantly. We really need it reviewed! :(

Is this a new thing?

Not sure what google staff is upto. Production users are extremely angry as Extensions are erroring out due to mismatch.

Reviews longer than 24 hours are normal. When you attempt to publish in the new dashboard, you will see a message that states, "Every extension is reviewed prior to publication, which can take several weeks. You can significantly decrease review time by using more narrowly scoped permissions."

Production users are extremely angry as Extensions are erroring out due to mismatch.

Can you elaborate? What is the error they're encountering and how is it related to a version mismatch?

Hi Simeon,

This is the permissions that we ask for:
"permissions": [
    "storage",
    "alarms"
  ],
  "optional_permissions": [
    "topSites"
  ],

and this our content policy:
"content_security_policy": "script-src 'self' https://www.google-analytics.com; object-src 'self'"

It has never took so long and it's over a month now in a pending status. We have some bugs that we already fixed that we cannot release.
Please help us.

From the last 2 years, we have the extensions published. It never took more than 2 hours. Didnt change permissions since our first publish. Our extensions calls external API which in turn calls databases. As there have been changes in database, chrome extension stopped working and users cannot use old chrome extensions and newer ones are not getting published.
