QR code generatio via API.

Hey everyone,

I'm looking to see if there's a way to create QR codes via the Chrome API. I'd love to leverage the built-in functionality "Create QR code for this page" to do this programmatically.

Has anyone explored this, or can you recommend an alternative API or method that achieves the same thing?

Hi Andrés,

We don't have an API or any documentation about how to do this currently. I was speaking to Patrick earlier in the week and we did both agree that it seems like an interesting idea, so maybe it is something we could think about for the future.

Until then, QR code generation is definitely possible in JavaScript as mentioned by a few of the previous posts. I'd definitely encourage you to try those which I expect should meet your needs.
