Dear Chrome Web Store Review Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I am a small developer in the Chrome plugin market, and I have been trying to create helpful tools for users. However, my experience has been incredibly challenging, and I am reaching out in the hope that you can provide some guidance.
Since mid-June of this year, my nightmare began. One of the plugins we developed was removed, and my developer account was banned. Every time I receive the same generic reason: "We examined your account in detail before concluding it as malicious." Despite reviewing the policies thoroughly, modifying my code repeatedly, and ensuring compliance with all guidelines, I have been blocked 10 times in the past six months.
I am on the verge of a breakdown and have communicated with Google reviewers each time. The response I receive is always the same:
"We examined your account in detail before concluding it as malicious. According to Chrome Web Store policy, malicious content is an unrectifiable violation. We can’t disclose details about the malicious activity due to security reasons. As the item is rejected for engaging in malicious activities harmful to users, and given the nature of the violation, the account will not be reinstated. For more information, please refer to the Content Policies section."
I have tried everything I can think of to resolve this issue. However, after modifying my code 10 times and still being banned without knowing the exact reason, I’m left in the dark and unsure of what further actions to take.
As a small developer, I genuinely want to contribute useful tools for users, but I am at a loss. I kindly request that you review my situation with more attention, as I am desperate to understand what exactly needs to be fixed.
