Feature Request: Side Panel for Tab Organization in Chrome

Dear Google Chrome Team,

I am a daily Chrome user and often work with multiple tabs open simultaneously. However, managing a large number of tabs in the current horizontal tab bar becomes difficult as the tab titles shrink, making navigation cumbersome.

I would love to see a vertical side panel for tab organization, similar to what Microsoft Edge and Brave offer. This feature would significantly improve usability by:

• Allowing easier navigation through open tabs.
• Displaying full tab titles instead of truncated ones.
• Reducing clutter and improving efficiency for power users.

This addition would make Chrome even better for those who rely on it daily for productivity. I appreciate your time and consideration and hope this can be implemented in future updates.

There's several vertical side panel extensions out there, mine being one such extension: Tab Shelf.

It's got all the features you're probably looking for, including grouping rules and easy management large number of tabs with the ability to select multiple tabs at one go to perform an action.
