Hi Julia,

I am fed up with this review process... Its like a black hole... It enters the review queue and then never comes out... First time I understood that my extension entered a review process because it had a file:// access. Then that problem was removed and I got a mail from you that it will be reviewd within 30 mins. 3 days and 3 mails later nothing happened I simply got a "Aw snap, unexpected error occured try later..." Fine!

After 2 weeks I created another gmail account and this time uploaded my extension "Scrapbook".. It worked fine for 3 days. Until a few days ago mysteriously it came under a pending review... For no reason?! Now its lying there no responses. My extension does not have mature content no NSAPI plugins, nothing that would be suspicious... What is going on?  Cant atleast there be a reason that you can give me why this is so or how much time it will take (If ever)?

Every platform is supposed to support its developer, be it a prime contributor or a simple starter. I hope you can speed things up to make things less obtrusive so I can atleast get my extension uploaded??

Hi Sid,

It appears that there may be an issue with your extension because it is
missing a logo and a screenshot. Can you try adding a logo and screenshot
to your extension and seeing if you can then access the developer
dashboard?

Thanks,
Julia

Can you post the extension ID to the list as well?

Hi,

Could some one please please please tell me why and how I can get in touch with the extension review team to get my app out of the review process... Why would you ignore your developers? Why does the application go under review after bing published?

I have mailed them like 5 times and there is no reply... Atleast telll me what the reason is that the extension is gone into review "after" it was published...I desperately want to make updates to my extension (https://chrome.google.com/extensions/detail/fihabipakbgncingdhhdidlbhneeicne) and try to get it to the end users...

I have changed my email adress twice to get the extension in again... What will I have to do get this done? please help...!

Hi Sid,

Sorry that you didn't get a response to your emails, I appreciate that the experience you had was pretty frustrating and we'll try to figure out what we can do to improve the process in the future.  Following up on the public list was a reasonable thing to do in this case.  I've taken a look at your extension - looks like it was flagged by an automated scan which turned up a false positive.  I've approved the update you had submitted for the extension - you should see the update go live within an hour or so of this email.

Please follow up with me directly if you have any more questions or have any more issues updating your extension.

Thanks,
~Arne

Hi Arne,
Thanks so much I see my extension is out of the review process! So the automate scan runs on the code? or my website description perhaps?
Cause I could change something so that this does not happen again... Let me know about it... I sincerely hope you can sort out the review process so this may not be an impedement to deployment in the future..

Good luck and thankyou
-Sid
