I try this command to install an extension based on this page:
http://code.google.com/chrome/extensions/packaging.html

google-chrome --pack-extension=/home/oren/misc/projects/borderstylo/
chrome/build/glass --pack-extension-key=/home/oren/misc/projects/
borderstylo/chrome/config/chrome-glass.pem --no-message-box

the browser is open but nothing is being installed.

Thanks!

Quoth myself, recently:

thanks Ben.

Is it possible to 'Load unpacked extension from the terminal' (instead
of clicking on the link in the 'extensions page').

I don't think so, but I'm not sure. If you search the group, you might
find an answer (I think someone else asked that recently, too), or you
can wait for someone else to reply.

I tried this but it didn't work (new chrome was opened but my
extension was not loaded)
google-chrome --load-extension="/home/myuser/myproject/build/glass"

build/glass is the folder with all the extension files(manifest, html,
etc)

Make sure Chrome is not running (in any way) when you do that.
