Hi,

I'm a Chrome Web Store developer and I've verified my account as a Trader for my extension Dreamshelf. During the verification process, my personal phone number was submitted and is now publicly displayed on the extension listing.

I want to replace it with an alternative number, but I'm stuck:

1. The Google Payments profile page (payments.google.com) shows no phone number field to edit under Settings.

2. I tried switching to Non-Trader and back to Trader as suggested in the official FAQ, but the process just re-verified using the same number — it never prompted me to enter a new one.

Is there any way to change the publicly displayed trader phone number through the dashboard or payments settings? Or does this require contacting One Stop Support directly?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

The phone number is not related to the one listed on your payment profile, which is why you are not seeing it on that page.
When you switch to a non-trader and then back to a trader, create a new profile instead of reusing the one you created before. You will then be asked for a new phone number then.

I am really sorry it is this convoluted, and I hope that helps you get past the setup.
