Unable to use IME in popup (Linux)

Before reporting a bug, I'd like to know if anyone here is experiencing the same issue as me.

For the past few versions, I've been unable to use the IME (input method editor) in the popup that appears when clicking the toolbar icon. Has anyone here been affected by this issue?

Here's my current setup: Chrome 141.0.7390.107; Linux (Fedora 42); Wayland; IBus.

I've already reported this issue. I posted the issue here first to make sure I'm not the only one affected by this (in which case there may be something wrong with my environment).
