Google Bot cannot crawl pages from Chrome Web Store [HIGH PRIORITY ERROR]

Google Bot cannot crawl the extension page from the chrome web store. When I want to run an advertisement on the link of my extension from the Chrome Web Store, Google Bot cannot display the extension page, which is why it ends up in a loop of endless redirects. As a result, I get disaprove of my extension link from the Chrome Web Store with the error "Distination is not working HTTP error 302 (less often 301).

I also checked the availability of extension links for google bot through third-party http request tracking services - the situation is identical. Please pay attention to this problem and fix it, since thousands of developers cannot use links to their extensions in their Google Ads advertising campaigns.

You can check it yourself using third-party services, for example httpstatus with the choice of Google bot user agent and provide a link to any extension from the chrome web store.

Yes, using Postman I get error exceeded max redirects with AdsBot-Google UserAgent. And it seems like WebStore doesn't have robots.txt file haha

When attempting to advertise my extension on Facebook, I encountered a issue: the ad failed to run because of a 302 redirect error. Checked the link to my extension - it causes an infinite redirect to the checking bots and prevents them from seeing the content on the site. This situation is incredibly frustrating and needs urgent attention.

Just following up on this thread, there was a bug in production that was causing GoogleBot to be redirected when querying the Chrome Web Store. This was fixed shortly after it was reported, and should no longer be occurring.
