Hello,

In my extension's popup, there is an injected stylesheet:

body {
    font-family: "Ubuntu Sans", Arial, sans-serif;
    font-size: 75%;
}

I'm using Chromium (without extensions) on Ubuntu. I found this Stack Overflow post which indicates that it's Chromium that adds this CSS. The options page also has the injected stylesheet.

Do we have the complete stylesheet that is added? Can we disable this stylesheet?

This is the entire built-in stylesheet, here's the source: https://crsrc.org/extensions/renderer/resources/extension_fonts.css
For me it always looked too small and I always assumed it's a bug in Chrome that no one reported because everyone always overrides these properties with their own CSS.

Thanks for the feedback. I've opened an issue: https://issues.chromium.org/476403076

This seems more like a legacy thing than anything, at least going by the 2014 copyright date.
I imagine back then, the average PC resolution was a fair bit smaller, so text would have appeared larger.

Most modern extensions probably overwrite these values - as would be good practice, imo.
Still, a fair few older extensions may not, so any change may severely (visually) break said extensions.

I get where you're coming from, but I'm not sure you'll get the outcome you're looking for.

I think in 2014 the average display resolution was roughly the same, but anyway as stated in the filed issue: "extension pages are rendered differently than regular web pages". There's no need for that, the entire premise of this stylesheet is wrong.

As for the older extensions compatibility problem, the removal of the stylesheet injection may be limited to ManifestV3, I guess.
