PlayaYield - ad platform for extension developers

I came across a recently launched ad platform for extension developers - playayield.com. Like many others, I have been looking for something like this for a long time. Has anyone tried working with them yet?

Let me guess, you've received this spam email like every other extension developer :D

I receive offers like this every week and it's almost guaranteed to be some shady stuff.

Yes, you're right. But compared to the ones I've received before, this one seems the most interesting – it's the first time I can remember seeing someone offering an actual ad platform for extensions, rather than something like a search engine or using users' internet connections. What's alarming is that there's almost no information about this platform yet.

The email can say whatever, it's just words :D, nobody forcing them to tell the truth - not to mention this is a spam automated email!

In the end, you will end up including some "ads.js" script into your codebase that does something it shouldn't do.

Their domain was registered only in December, so this is not some "established business".

Monetizing extensions is not easy and they know that extension developers are poor and frustrated so they offer them "easy solutions".

Yes, that is so true, we need more platforms that allows users to monetize their browser extensions with ad revenue since in app purchases are not always the best way and are not always guaranteed to make lots or profits. If this is legitimate then this would be a good idea.
