I received an email from GoogleDevelo...@google.com (note the '-noreply') for the first time on Wed Aug 11 with the following subject line: 

[Action Required] Drive API requires updates to your code before Sep 13, 2021

Five weeks notice?! My BrainTool extension stores user data in a Google Drive file via the API. Luckily the change does not seem to impact my situation but if it did making an update and getting it through the CWS approval process before it broke my app for users would have been a stretch.

I can't get around a Chrome dependency but I'm questioning my decision to user Firebase as a backend...
