Hey all,
This post is 100% my personal opposition and does not reflect the views of Google.
Any time a 3rd party service pays you to use them, I'd strongly encourage you to consider their incentives and motivations. What benefit do they recieve if you use their library/service? How do you think they monetize? How do they afford the payouts to developers?
Please keep in mind that Chrome Web Store policies do not allow developers to use the data their extensions can access for any reason other than it's expressly stated purpose. This restriction applies to all code executed by your extension, including that provided by 3rd parties. Ultimately you are responsible for the code you publish. If a violation is found, your extension will be impacted but the 3rd party likely won't be.
IMO if a deal seems too good to be true, chances are it is.
