Hello. We are experiencing issues while trying to access a group publisher through the developer dashboard. The dropdown does not offer the group publisher.

We've confirmed that all members are part of the Google Group that the publisher is based on - some with manager permissions.

Perhaps it's because that the "trader declaration"  was not completed? I've submitted the requested details but it's pending verification. But I couldn't find any documentation stating that this is required for group publisher access.

I'd appreciate your help on this issue.

Hi John!
Would you be able to share the account that is expected to be a part of a group?

Trader declaration would not have an effect on the group status.

Hello Patrick,

The group publisher is dev-chrom...@samsara.com and the account john...@samsara.com

We've discovered that a manual sync from the Chrome Web Store is required for the group membership to be reflected onto the group publisher membership, which seems to be the reason that new members are not able to access the publisher.

Unfortunately, all the current members / owner of the publisher are now inactive (left the company) and we do not have a way to initiate the sync. Is there a recovery process for these types of scenarios? Any of these approaches will work:
  1. Triggering a sync on the group publisher (from a Google support/admin)
  2. Manually adding the account to the group publisher.
  3. Transferring the extension to a different group publisher.
Appreciate the support.

Best,
John

Hi John
If no users are able to trigger the sync, then One Stop Support would be able to help you if you open a new ticket with them.
