PSA: Some docs updates… (and happy holidays!)

Hi everyone,
As we get to the end of 2025, I wanted to thank you all for being part of the community. There have been so many great conversations and I've loved being part of them. I hope everyone has a nice break before the New Year and gets some time to recharge.
As things wrap up, we've had the chance to land a few documentation updates that have been pending for a while. I thought I'd share a couple!
Updates to the `chrome.storage` API reference
All storage areas implement the `StorageArea` interface, which means the methods and events associated with storage areas are nested under a `StorageArea` heading. Unfortunately, in the past this has meant the methods don't show up in the table of contents and has made the API reference fairly hard to read. We've tried changing things up quite a bit with a new page to make this better.
We'll probably still iterate on this, but hopefully it is a notable improvement.

Fixing types… 🛠️
We've been fixing various things in the documentation based on bugs you've filed. For example, correctly adding the response parameter to the sendResponse function in `runtime.onMessage`.
Please keep filing bugs - we do look at them and try to get to them all in time.
I'll be winding down for the holidays soon, but we'll still be keeping an eye on the mailing list as a team if anything comes up.
Oh, and I have one more video coming on the Chrome for Developers channel before the end of the year. It's part of the Developer Mode series which I'd love you to consider watching if you haven't already.
