Change the background color of Google Docs iframe

Hi,

I'm working on an extension related to Google Docs and am trying to
change the background color of the iframe where the text is stored.
I've tried everything and can't seem to get anything to work
(including just changing the background color of every element with
*).

This is what I've got to so far so you can see the problem:
