trying to understand extension approval cadence / timeline

Hi there,
Variation on a common question. 
 
Our extension id: ocadbjdabcjjlghdgjjnefcjdkineaek 
Got some ui fixes based on user feedback submitted on 1/21 and we haven has been in review since then. Reading the forum it doesn't feel like sub one week is _abnormal_.

So I am trying to understand what would cause a review timeline to expand?
-- Is there a set of guides for this?
--I know roughly its related to permissions and scripts injected into the page, and nothing we did in the last release changed either of those. 
-- Is it also tied to the fact that we're public and out of unlisted mode?
-- Or in the end, is it all black-boxy and we'll have to roll with what happens.? 

Basically I'm trying to better understand what changes impact what, so we can better batch and plan releases and improvements.
