Hello,
In our text-to-speech extension, users often request the ability to collapse the side panel. However, currently, when the side panel is closed, the reading stops. Using workarounds, such as connecting background scripts to transfer large amounts of data, is not an ideal solution as it significantly impacts performance.It would be helpful if Chrome could add support for collapsing panels at a system level.
