source code for chrome.pageCapture (MHTML encoding)

Could someone point me in the direction of the source code for pageCapture? I'm interested in seeing the algorithm that the API uses to encode documents.

Here is the entry point close to the algorithm that is used to generate MHTML files in Chromium: https://cs.chromium.org/MHTMLGenerator::GenerateMHTML()
