Hi Rolando,
What began in June of 2024 was the experiments to disable MV2 extensions. It isn't a black and white as you may be expecting. We are currently in a soft deprecation phase. That means that ~50% of users in Chrome Canary and Chrome Dev channel are having their MV2 extensions disabled right now. The "soft" part is because they are allowed to turn them back on, if disabled. All MV2 extensions should continue to be available on the Chrome Web Store until they are no longer supported in Chrome at all. This would be while the ExtensionManifestV2Availability enterprise policy is available, which we have guaranteed would be until at least June of 2025. However, MV2 extensions will likely be reduced in search results and potentially hidden from all traffic other than direct links to it's listings. There is no date or Chrome version where this is set to happen, though we will communicate that here and on our documentation page once it does happen.
