CSP errors driving me insane, hours of wasted time

No matter what I cannot get past them, been trying hours for days...

My extension works just fine, but as soon as I tried to add Firebase auth/login (which I have used many times, without problems with websites) its just hell. All the docs online are saying different things. Scattered everywhere etc. 

Is there just some simple way to do this? I've tried hosting pages on my server, tried putting it in a popup, I don't think i'll ever bother trying to make another extension its just too much of a waste of time trying to hunt down the  answer to this.

You can use firebase/auth/web-extension and the createUserWithEmailAndPassword and signInWithEmailAndPassword methods without the need for any pages anywhere.

Have you come across the updated Firebase documentation for Manifest V3?

In particular firebase/auth/web-extension is specifically designed to work with our updated requirements.
