Deploy Chrome Extension to Intranet

Hi,

I have recently developed a simple Chrome Extension for the company's local IIS Intranet. 

I'd like to use group_policy to roll this out across the entire company network.

Do I need to publish the Extension to Chrome Store to do this or could I target a local copy of it?

A quick Google was giving me mixed results.

If we have to go down the Chrome Store route - will setting the status to Private still work locally even if our users aren't signed into Google?

So many questions - thanks for any help :-)

Yes, I read those guides but sometimes speaking to a real person who has a similar set up can count for so much.

I'm confident this can be done so will keep this topic posted with how we go :-)
