Our Chrome extension, BrowserStack Local (previously available at  https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/browserstack-local/mfiddfehmfdojjfdpfngagldgaaafcfo?utm_source=chrome-ntp-icon&authuser=1),(which is being used by 92000+ users) has been taken down without any warning by the Google Chrome team. Is there any way you can explain this crude behavior ? At least you should have emailed a warning to us.

We have been receiving complaints from our customers as they have lost access to a critical product feature.

1. The extension has been created by the BrowserStack team for exclusive use on the BrowserStack website. It is used by our users to connect their internal development or staging environments to BrowserStack for testing purposes.

2. The extension is in active use by 90,000 BrowserStack users, several of whom use it daily. The removal has caused them a great deal of inconvenience.

3. The extension has been online for over a year (8th November, 2013 to be precise), and has been used without issues ever since. It has received regular updates for functionality as well.

PLEASE REPLY TO US URGENTLY AND MAKE THIS APP AVAILABLE AGAIN. ASAP.

Hi,

I'd recommend submitting an issue at https://support.google.com/chrome_webstore/contact/developer_support/?hl=en - a similar thing happened to us, but it still took us a week to get it back in store I'm afraid!

Cheers,
Simon

Hi BrowserStack,
Unfortunately this group has been depreciated as an official support channel, so the Chrome team no longer help here (they didn't before). However, as a user of BrowserStack myself, I feel concerned too. Please contact the team here, I cannot comment on the reliability as I have not used it, however it is the only way known (except big companies' internal contacts) to contact them :/ https://support.google.com/chrome_webstore/contact/developer_support/?hl=en
