For the past few weeks I'm getting a lot of emails with a "words of encouragement", people finally believe in my "legitimate extension" :D.

Are you also laughing when you get one of those emails? :)

I mean, who writes like that? Is that some bad AI spam bot? Or why would anyone build a not legitimate extension, wtf :D.

I would tag this with "Fun" if this forum had some tags... :)

The CWS is full of illegitimate extensions made by dishonest and scammy people. e.g extensions that are blatant rip-offs, extensions that masquerade as useful but their true purpose is to steal all your browsing activity, extensions that manipulate advertisement and search results, you name it.

It's for good reason that the CWS reviews all extensions at all times, not just upon submission.

That's true.

But it's the irony that strikes me here - that he is the one that's offering the illegitimate shady practices to me, and yet saying that he believes my extension is legitimate...

I don't know, maybe it's the language barrier... ¯_(ツ)_/¯, I'm from Slovakia :)
