Unable to pay $5 for webstore registration -India

I am from India, and my bank has blacklisted the merchant to make payment to webstore. I tried getting wise/payoneer card, but it is not available in India. I can try applying for go niyo, but I am not even sure if that will work. 

Anyone from India here, who have registered for Webstore? How you made the payment? What worked for you??

Hey Punita,

When you say that the bank blacklisted the merchant - which merchant do you mean? If it is something at Google, could you share the bank so I can have someone reach out to them and see if we can get it sorted out?

Hey Patrick,

Thanks for your response. Yes the merchant here is Google. The Bank is ICICI. When I tried to make a payment for the registration, the transaction was getting declined. Upon asking the bank it was informed that the merchant you tried to make payment to has been blacklisted usually because of previous suspicious activities or something like that was mentioned. I did tell them but it is Google, and they said that's what's the update they have currently. 

I would be really thankful if you can get this sorted, because I tried informing this to Google through various ways, but none seemed to work. Also, my extension and future extension plans have gone on hold which otherwise I was planning to share via gumroad as a zip to be deployed manually.

I hope you have received my response, as it is not reflecting in the group. 

Do you have any update on this? Did anything work out? I am waiting for this to be resolved so I can publish my extension.
