Hi Moderators,
I need your urgent help regarding a copyright issue that's seriously hurting my business.
I run an extension called VU Quiz Firewall Bypass (VUBuddy): A.I Quiz Solver & One-Click Lecture Skip, which recently moved to a freemium model with our v2.0 launch. Unfortunately, someone stole our previous version code and published it under a different name as a competing extension.
Here are the details:
Our Original Extension:
Copied Extension:
I submitted a DMCA takedown request days ago but haven’t heard back from the Copyright Removal Team. This delay is letting the copied extension continue to harm our business.

Hi Oliver,
Thanks for getting back to me. I received an email a few days ago stating that the case has been forwarded to the relevant department, but I haven’t received any further updates since then. The delay is causing significant financial damage to my business, as many of my users are switching to the old version of my extension that was stolen and published on the Web Store.
Here’s the case ID: 9-3029000037622.
I’d really appreciate it if you could follow up on this. The situation is becoming quite critical for us.
Thanks again for your help!
Hi Oliver,
I haven’t heard back from the copyright team yet. Could you please look into this for me?
Thanks for your assistance!
