Chrome Extension Pending Review Since April 5th

My extension update has been pending review for over 11 days, and the currently published version contains a critical issue that is negatively impacting users.

This update primarily includes UI improvements and internal fixes, but it also introduces new permissions (sidePanel, scripting, and host permissions), which may have triggered a longer review process.

Is there any way to expedite review for a bug fix release in situations like this? In my past experience, manual reviews have typically taken about a week, but this has now been nearly two weeks.

Any insight would be appreciated.

My extension was stuck in the pending review state for 10+ days as well.

Then yesterday I:
1. Canceled review for the version that was stuck

2. Uploaded a new version with some additional improvements/fixes

The new version (and another version after that) went through the review process with no delay.
