My extension update has been pending review for over 11 days, and the currently published version contains a critical issue that is negatively impacting users.
This update primarily includes UI improvements and internal fixes, but it also introduces new permissions (sidePanel, scripting, and host permissions), which may have triggered a longer review process.
Is there any way to expedite review for a bug fix release in situations like this? In my past experience, manual reviews have typically taken about a week, but this has now been nearly two weeks.
Any insight would be appreciated.

Has anyone received an update from the support team regarding this issue?
This is a critical bug currently impacting over 200,000 users. It would be helpful to understand the scope of the backlog and any estimated timeline for resolution.
If anyone has received a response or has additional information, please share.
I am worried that if I cancel it will restart the entire process and put my extension in the queue for 10 more days. This is a brand new version I was publishing compared to the old one I have currently live. So overall I am very conflicted on what to due, it seems its just frozen especially since google has not even been able to send any feedback.
