to Chromium Extensions
Good afternoon, dear community members.
I'd like to share a situation and perhaps seek your advice. Over two weeks ago, we discovered a complete copy of our extension in the Chrome Web Store. The copy is published under the name BlackInput (ID: iomflaclalmibceappfegipkgddlindb).
We've collected irrefutable evidence (including matching source code, original HTML tags, and evidence of unauthorized collection of user data) and submitted a detailed complaint to the Chrome Web Store support team.
Unfortunately, despite clear policy violations (intellectual property, duplicate content, privacy), the platform has yet to take any visible action, and the copy remains available in the store.
I'm asking for your advice: please advise what other effective protections are available in this situation? Are there any specific authorities where we can file an official complaint about the platform's inaction, or other mechanisms to ensure our rights are protected and the infringing product is removed?
I would be very grateful for any useful information and experiences.
