Just uploaded a first beta version of a chrome extension to the chrome webstore. It's a very simple extension, this first version merely serves as a demo. After uploading the extension I got the message that it is marked for manual review. It says this mostly happens when the extension contains an NPAPI component. My extension does not contain an NPAPI component. Far from that; it's somethin very simple.

Why is my extension marked for manual review and what can i do to make it available via chrome store to a small group of yet unknown people?

best regards,

Tim

We had a hiccup in the store that caused this. It should be cleared by end of this week. If not, let me know.

Joe, the hiccup in the store that I'm aware of wouldn't cause an NPAPI
warning to be shown to extensions that don't contain plugins. We saw a
similar complaint at
https://groups.google.com/a/chromium.org/d/topic/chromium-extensions/9nWJ8dsHzb4/discussion
from feel...@gmail.com. Are you sure this is just the backlog and
not a separate bug?
